About Us

Who Is WPF?

​

The Wildlife Protection Force (WPF) is a non-profit, grass-roots organisation that seeks to promote animal welfare across the UK.

 

It is clear for all to see that the threat to our natural landscapes and those that inhabit them grows each day. We pledge to fight for those that cannot fight for themselves, and hope to leave our planet in better shape for those who are still to come.

WHO IS JEREMY?

 

Unfortunately, those within the animal’s rights world are too often met with vitriol and hatred. We are normal people who lead normal lives.

 

We do not crave publicity or attention. We do not wish for our lives to be turned upside by those whose way of life our voice threatens. We do not wish for our hope to succumb to slander or threat.

 

We are not the story.

 

We wish to encourage people to get involved, to highlight transgressions, to bring stories to light. And we want people to feel safe in doing so.

 

We are Jeremy.

 

Inspired by the writings of Jeremy Bentham, one of the earliest advocates for animal welfare, we’re trying to make a difference. We hope to carry his legacy in the fight against animal persecution.

 

Bentham wrote that “every act by which, without prospect of preponderant good, pain is knowingly and willingly produced in any being whatsoever, is an act of cruelty”.

 

If we cannot treat animals with care and respect, how do we expect to treat each other?
